Podium allows you, as a teacher, to gather real time data about whether the students in your class are confused about the material being presented. Students can tap an "Im Confused" button on their app whenever they are confused about the material being presented. You are notified every 10 seconds how many students have tapped the button to allow you to gauge student understanding and fix problem areas during the class. Podium also allows students to ask questions directly to you in-app to prevent students feeling insecure about asking any question.

Podium records and automatically transcribes every lecture, allowing you to review, post-class, when students were most confused during your lecture. Play back your recording and read along with the transcription. Every word you say is timestamped to allow for maximum accuracy when comparing student confusion data with your lecture.

Podium is free for an unlimited amount of students, an unlimited amount of classes, and an unlimited amount of courses. Podium also includes 20 minutes of free recording and transcription for an unlimited amount of classes. You can upgrade for $9.99 a month for unlimited recording and transcription.
